Mother Macabre's Fine Ceramic Oddities
I became interested in ceramics through archaeology. Much of what we know about ancient cultures is gleaned from artifacts left behind...bone, stone, gold or ceramic. I enjoy making things that remind me of objects excavated from a dig site. I also have a degree in biology and worked as a laboratory scientist for over 20 years....so, I have an affinity for bones and medical art.
This site presents photos of my 'macabre' art and also of some interesting places I've visited. The supernatural and spiritual have been a source of unending fascination for me since I can remember. I hope you enjoy the images herein.
